Filing dates you never have to type in.
Add a limited company by its number. FiledOnTime reads the Companies House register, works out what is due when, and alerts you well before it is. Nothing to key in, and nothing to keep current: when the register moves, your deadlines move with it.
Everything you need to stay on top of filing dates.
FiledOnTime does the watching so you can get on with the work. Here is what that looks like day to day.
Your whole client book on one screen. Red means under 10 days, amber under 30, green beyond that. No spreadsheet to maintain, no dates to copy across by hand.
In plain English
Limited companies have to file certain things by certain dates. Miss one and there are penalties, and in the worst case the company gets struck off. Those dates are public, but nobody tells you when they are coming.
FiledOnTime is the thing that tells you. That is the whole idea.
You add a company
Type in its company number, the eight characters on any Companies House filing. We look the company up on the public register and show you its name, its directors and PSCs, and the dates it has to file by. You check it looks right, then save it.
We keep watch
Every morning we go through every company on your account and work out how many days are left until each of its deadlines. You do not have to open the app, tick anything off, or maintain a spreadsheet. Nothing is asked of you between deadlines.
You get an alert
By default we alert you 90, 60, 30, 10, 5 and 1 days before each deadline, and you can change those points whenever you like. One alert per deadline, per reminder, and never the same one twice, even if something goes wrong at our end.
And what it does not do
FiledOnTime is a reminder service. It does not verify anyone's identity, and it does not file anything with Companies House, HMRC or anyone else on your behalf. It will not sign in as you, submit a confirmation statement, or pay a fee.
It tells you what is due and when, so that you can go and do it. The filing stays your job. We just make sure the date never takes you by surprise.
The details that make it trustworthy
A reminder service is only worth having if it is right every time. These are the parts that make sure it is.
Straight from the register
Dates are read from the Companies House register, not from anything you type in. Re-sync a company any time to pick up a filing made last week.
It tells you when something is wrong
A company number that does not exist says so, in the form, straight away. If Companies House itself is having a moment, you are told that too rather than left wondering whether it saved.
Reminders on your schedule
Pick how far ahead you want warning, from a year out to the day before. And you will never get the same reminder twice, whatever happens at our end.
ECCTA, person by person
Each director and PSC carries their own verification deadline and tick box, so you know precisely who is outstanding.
VAT by cadence, not by date
Tell us a company files quarterly on stagger 2 and we work out every due date from there. Included from Practice up, an add-on on Solo.
Room for one more client
Won a 26th company on a 25-company plan? Add 5 more for £5 a month instead of jumping a tier. Go over and nothing is hidden or deleted: you just cannot add more until you top up.
Get started today
Add your first company in about a minute. Solo covers three companies for £5 a month, and you can move up whenever your client book does.
Create your accountWho it is for
Anyone responsible for a limited company's filing dates, whether that is three companies or three hundred.
You act for dozens of limited companies and the filing dates are scattered across client files, Companies House emails and memory.
One table for the whole client book, and a reminder before anything is due.
Accountants You are not the one filing, but you are the one who notices first when something is coming up, and you get asked.
A shared account so you and the accountant are looking at the same dates.
Bookkeepers You run one or two companies, do not have an accountant on retainer, and the confirmation statement is easy to forget.
Three companies on the Solo plan, with reminders long before the deadline.
Company directors
Simple pricing, for practices of any size.
Every plan tracks confirmation statements, annual accounts and ECCTA identity verification. You are only ever paying for how many companies and people you need.

White-label client portal
Give every client a link to their own deadlines, under your branding. One flat price however many clients you have, with no per-portal charge.
Growth and Agency
Prices are per month. Change plan, add or drop an add-on, or cancel any time. You only pay the difference for the part of the month you have used, and your data stays until you delete it.
Every plan starts with 7 days free. We ask for a card so the account keeps working when the trial ends, and nothing is charged until then. Cancel before it ends and you pay nothing at all.
Every account uses two-factor authentication, so a leaked password alone cannot expose your client list. Setting it up takes about a minute with an authenticator app, or you can use a passkey and skip passwords entirely.
Frequently asked questions
The things practices ask before they trust a reminder service with their filing dates.
Where do the dates come from?
The Companies House register, the same one anyone can search. We read the confirmation statement and accounts due dates straight from it, and you can re-sync a company at any time to pick up a filing made last week.
Do you file anything for me?
No. FiledOnTime tells you what is due and when. Filing stays with you, done directly with Companies House. We never sign in as you or submit anything on your behalf.
Do you verify identities for ECCTA?
No. Verification is done by the individual with Companies House or an authorised agent. What we do is read each person’s verification status from the register where it is published, and show you who is still outstanding. Where the register has nothing yet, you tick people off yourself.
How often will you alert me?
Only when something is coming up. By default that is 90, 60, 30, 10, 5, 1 days before each deadline, and you can change those points to suit your practice. Each reminder goes out once and once only, so a quiet month means a quiet inbox.
How does VAT tracking work?
Companies House does not hold VAT dates, so you tell us how often a company files: monthly, quarterly with its HMRC stagger group, or annually. We work out every due date from that, so you never type a date in. Change the stagger and every upcoming date moves with it.
What happens if I go over my plan limit?
Adding another company or inviting another person is blocked with a prompt to upgrade. Nothing you have already added is hidden or deleted. You simply cannot add more until you move up a plan or free a slot.
Can my colleagues use the same account?
Yes. Invite them by email up to your plan’s seat limit. Everyone sees the same companies and the same deadlines, and everyone gets the reminder emails. Pending invitations count towards the limit.
What if a company number does not exist?
You get told so, in the form, straight away. The same goes for Companies House being slow or down. You always see what actually went wrong rather than being left to wonder whether it saved.
What happens if I cancel?
Reminders stop at the end of the period you have paid for, and your companies stay on file. Nothing is deleted, so resubscribing picks up exactly where you left off, and you can delete everything yourself at any point.
